I don't delete any of these texts (sent or received) so theoretically they should all be showing up in TMT app. However, my sent messages disappear in the TMT app, but others sometimes do appear. The initial selection of contacts shown is based on those who you have messages from. If you had deleted all the received messages for a contact and only left with messages you have sent to them then the contact would no longer show in the list. And it;s unlikely they'll allow people to make SMS apps that make sending SMS cheaper than through their carriers. However there is an app called Bite SMS available on jailbroken iPhones via Cydia that might do what you're looking for! It would be great if the app could tell which text messages are already online in my account, so I don't have to go in and manually delete duplicates.
